Four wires are provided forthe trolley in order to avoid the exchange of contacts. The poweris provided by connecting the wires to the electric street railwaycircuit, the positive wire to the trolley, the negative wire to therails. The rolling stock consists of four motor wagons, each witha capacity of 22 passengers, two 20-horsepower motors driving therear wheels. The trolley cable is about 65 feet long, thus givinga large radius of action. Braking is effected by electricity and byfoot brakes. The illumination of the car is by electric lights.
