Interior view of restored C19th water-mill (clack mill/click mill) at the Shetland Croft House Museum, Boddam, Scotland, UK. Water from a leat & wooden flume (fluim) drives a horizontal wheel (tirl) which, via a vertical shaft, powers the millstones on the floor above. Grain from the wooden hopper is fed between the stones via a wooden shoe & flour collected in the wooden tray.
