Norfolk/Suffolk. 1987 – A photograph of the village sign of Scole, on the border of Norfolk and Suffolk, England. The sign is decorated with crossed post horns representing the Scole Inn, the oldest building in the parish. Scole is located 19 miles south of Norwich, on the north bank of the River Waveney. It lays on the old Roman road to Venta Icenorum.
