Health workers and protesters occupied Westminster Bridge to protest against the Health and Social Care Bill as it proceeded to the House of Lords. The Bill will cause fragmentation of the National Health Service and encourage privitisation. The Bill was introduced by the Health Minister Andrew Lansley and is backed by the Conservative and Liberal Democrat coalition Government.
