Lex Coloniae Genitiuae Iuliae. Municipal Law of the ancient Urso (Osuna, Seville province, Andalusia, Spain) promulgated in 44 BC. Published in bronze tablets between 20 and 24 AD. Second tablet. It explains the obligation of augurs and pontifices to reside in the colony, appointment of legates, prohibition of gifts to avoid abuses, jurisdiction of aediles, procedure of popular initiatives and judicial means for colonist to demand the fulfillment of civic obligations.
