An EU flag and combined EU/UK flag fly overhead on Pall Mall as pro-EU demonstrators in their tens of thousands gather for the 'March for a People's Vote' in central London. The march was organised by campaigners to call for the terms of the UK's eventual Brexit deal to be put before the British people in the form of a public vote. Exactly two years have now passed since Britain's deeply divisive referendum on EU membership, with the country due to leave the union in March 2019.
