Spicules of specimen Scale: 20 [xm. EPIPOLASIDA Epipolasidae Aponastra modesta sp. n. (Fig. 27) Occurrence : Port Royal (Jamaica), submerged ruins, depth 5-7 m, 27 March 1964. Holotype: msng 47688 The specimen in life was dark grey outside and greenish grey inside. It was compressible, elastic, with a velvety surface. Preserved in formalin, it is middle brown, very soft. The shape is not definable and oscules are not recognizable. The skeleton consists of oxeas part in.
