Just eastof the molding floor is the section in which the bearings arebabbitted and other castings finished. Two tumbling bar-rels are located in a small lean-to on the south side of theshop. Along the south wall are located a sprue cutter, twostand grinders, a two-spindle boring machine, a swinggrinder and two babbitt furnaces. These furnaces are usedfor babbitting crossheads and similar work and two other.
