Algeria (July 29, 2018) Cmdr. Tyson Young, center, commanding officer of the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64), provides a tour of the ship to Algerian Gen. Sameh Zine-Eddine, commander of Central Maritime Zone, 1st Military Region, during the ship’s visit to Algiers, Algeria, July 29, 2018. Carney, forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, is on its fifth patrol in the 6th Fleet area of operations in support of regional allies and partners as well as national security interests in Europe and Africa.
