CRAUN Benjamin Harrison Craun was born Dec. 21, 1888, nearBridgewater, Va. He spent his life in and near this com-munity until the Lord called him to a higher life March_____ 7, 1922. Being a very con-scientious lad. he gavehis heart to the Lordat the age of twelveyears, during a revival,held at the Summitchurch by Eld. D. , in December,1901. He was studious,and, being endowedwith a business talent,he graduated in theBusiness Course atBridgewater CollegeJune, 1909. He alsoprepared himself forteaching and ministe-rial work at this 10, 1912, hemarried Matie V. Miller. There were two sons and twodaughters. These, with his wife, father, mother, foursisters and two brothers, survive. His interest and faithfulness in church activities re-sulted in his being called to the ministry in the spring of1914, which position he filled most acceptably until hisphysical strength failed.
