Our field of these peppers growing for seed attracted considerable attention, not only on account of their extraordinary size, but also from the fact that many of the peppers, seemingly ashamed of their great length, would curl up in the middle into a peculiar shape. We measured one specimen nine inches long by three inches thick, while the average length is seven to eight inches.
