The long net is a traditional English and UK method of catching rabbits without the need for poison, the net is placed around the rabbit warren, then ferrets are allowed to work in the burrows, any bolting rabbits will be caught in the net and humanly despatched. It is a method of pest control, traditionally used by warreners for many years.
