Andrew Christensen, of Stoneham, has a grand crop of Carnation Matchless for Mothers' day. Ward, Pink Delight, Alice and the old Queen are also fine. F. J. Dolansky, of Lynn, is starting to cut fine blooms of Cattleya gigas, in addition to those of C. Mossiae. He also has splendid stock of Odontoglossum crispum and O. Pescatorei, Eenanthera Imschootiana and Oncidium flexuosum. The Halifax Garden Co., in addition to the regular and largo shipments of roses and carnations, is cutting good hybrid amaryllis, gardenias and ixias. Of the latter they are the largest local growers this season. A. E. E. Koch, of Nobscot, is a success- ful grower of Marguerite Mrs. Sander and now is making large shipments of this fine white variety. He also has yel- low marguerites, pink snapdragons and carnations.
