The building is very favorably situated, and occupies aspace of eight acres. The nucleus of a fund for supplying indigent graduates of theinstitution with an outfit suitable to their trades, or with money inlieu thereof, promises to meet with many additions. The fund isthe out-come of the benevolence of Mrs. Fitzpatrick, a resident ofDelaware, in this State, and appears to be suggested by the factthat her daughter, who was smitten with blindness, studied as apupil in the institute, and became singularly attached to many ofits inmates.
