EYE AND KAK INFIRMARY. 127 The exterior of the structure is entirely of Quincygranite, formed with split ashlar in courses, with cornicesand other projecting portions hammered or dressed; theremaining portions of the entire building, both inside andoutside, are of brick, iron, and stone, excepting the inte-rior of the west wing, which is finished with wood. The Eye and Ear Infir^iary is situated on CharlesStreet, a short distance south of Cambridge Bridge. Thebuilding is of brick, and consists of a main building andtwo wings. The front of the principal building (which issixty-seven feet in length and forty-four feet deep) is em-bellished by stone dressings to all the windows, do
