YOKOSUKA, Japan (April 24, 2017) Chief Information Systems Technician Jeff Beyea, assigned to 7th Fleet flagship USS Blue Ridge (LCC 19), decorates a banner with his children during an event for the Month of the Military Child. Blue Ridge is in an extensive maintenance period in order to modernize the ship to continue to serve as a robust communications platform in the 7th Fleet area of operations.
