Sydney, Australia, Wednesday, 21st August,2024. Gadigal Station which was opened this week as part of the driverless Sydney Metro train line running between Sydenham and Chatswood and onto Tallawong. Gadigal Station is located at the junction between Sydney’s southern Central Business District and the Midtown retail precinct. Two bold and monumental tiled artworks, mirror images marking both entrances of the new Gadigal Station, titled "The Underneath" by artist Callum Morton. The station name acknowledges the Gadigal people, the original custodians of the land around Sydney’s CBD.
