Interior of Guarda Cathedral, Portugal. The magnificent main altar is made of ançã limestone by the workshop of João de Ruão in Coimbra and is an excellent example of ancient sculpture from the late Renaissance period. The cathedral was built in granite between 1390-1540 and represent different architectural styles.
