The Bravo Co. Marines and corpsmen treated ill or injured role-players during the exercise and also provided food and water. NEOs are conducted to assist in evacuating noncombatants, service members and third country nationals from locations in a host foreign nation to an appropriate safe haven or the United States when they are put into danger.
