THE Houdan pattern is a stripe effect semi-conventional a 9 or 18-inch border can be furnished, and the borders carrythe same design as the side wall, only in a larger and bolder coloring and design of the ceiling are made to match either border. Just as we produce patterns like this and sell them for only 5 cents adoubleroll, so do we produce the usual 40, 50 and 60-cent patterns and sellthem at 15 to 30 cents. It is not unusual for us to receive letters from ourcustomers enclosing samples of papers they have bought at retail whichwould not even favorably compare with papers in our line costing lessthan half as much
