Postbox on Arran
A bright red cast iron postbox in Brodick on the Isle of Arran, Scotland. This wall-mounted box has a GR cypher below the collection times plate which identifies it as a George VI box made between 1936 and 1952 (when the GR cypher was replaced, in England but not in Scotland, by the Elizabeth II cypher).
