Mostar, Bosnia and Herzegovina - August 2023: Old Bridge ("Stari Most") over river Neretva was opened in 1566 or 1567. During the Croat–Bosniak War on 9th November 1993 the bridge collapsed due to shelling by Bosnian Croat forces. The reconstruction was opend on 23rd July 2004. The bridge and the surrounding Old City is inscripted as a UNESCO World heritage site.
