The steam center, behaved in the northernmost part of the operating manager, was intended for heating the train sets at the Bangården, the Ilgod building, the machine department's crew and service facilities and storage rooms. The steam center house contained boiler room, appliance room, kolum and slag rooms. The vapor paneling was of the most modern type. It consisted of three double boilers. The lower ones were flame tubes and the tops were tube boilers. The central chimney measured a height of 35 meters.
