Theintensity corresponding to the first inflexion point, as nearly as itcould be determined from the Porter graph, gives the equilibriumcondition in the red and violet sensations, but enhances the green, asshown in curve C. Evidently the intensity selected is a little too high,since enhancement of the green sensation has occurred which is char-acteristic of /3 intensity stimulation. The curves, D and E, for ^ and 7intensities, show enhancement of the whole spectrum. When the colorwas used at 5 intensity, curve F, the green sensation was enhanced andthe red and violet depressed.
