Spiral galaxy NGC 4725, infrared image. Unusually, this galaxy appears to have only one spiral arm. Blue areas are mature stars, while red areas are regions of active star formation. This galaxy is located 41 million light years from Earth, in the constellation Coma Berenices. Image taken by the Infrared Array Camera on the Spitzer Space Telescope.
