RENO, Nev. (June 19, 2018) Aerographer’s Mate 1st Class Brett Myers, assigned to Fleet Weather Center - San Diego joins chief meteorologist Mike Alger on KTVN Channel 2 News, as part of Navy Week. Myers, a Carson City, Nev. native, delivered the rest of the forecast. FWC-SD is one of the many units in Reno for Navy Week. Navy Week programs serve as the Navy's principal outreach effort into areas of the country that lack a significant Navy presence, helping Americans understand that their Navy is deployed around the world, around the clock, ready to defend America at all times.
