Yates fitted up a mill for grinding it. j\Ir. Whitehad the exclusive right of manufacturing and vending the ar-ticle. The price ordinarily charged, was from three dollarsfifty cents to five dollars per barrel of five bushels. Thebarrels were lined with oiled paper, and were made perfectlywater tight.
