230201-N-WM182-1009 SOUTH CHINA SEA (Feb. 01, 2023) The Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Chung Hoon (DDG 93) steams alongside the aircraft carrier USS Nimitz (CVN 68) during a fueling-at-sea. Nimitz is in 7th Fleet conducting routine operations. 7th Fleet is the Navy's largest forward-deployed numbered fleet, and routinely interacts and operates with Allies and partners in preserving a free and open Indo-Pacific region.
