Proboscis fully developed ; palpi obliquely upturned, the 2ad joint reaching to vertex of head and with large tuft of scales behind at extremity, the 3rd luoderate ; froiis smooth, with tuft of scales ; eyes large, round ; antennje of female almost simple; thorax clothed almost entirely with scales, the pro- thorax with hump-shaped crest, the metathorax with depressed crest; tibite slightly fringed witli hair ; abdomen without crests. Fore wing with the costa slightly lobed just beyond middle; the apex rectangular, the termen evenly curyed and crenulate; veins 3 and 6 from close to angle of cell; 6 from upper angle; 9 from 10 anastomosing with 8 to form a short areole; 11 from cell. Hind wing with veins 3, 4 from angle of cell; 5 fully developed from well above angle; 6, 7 from upper angle ; 8 anastomosing with the cell to middle. 6625. (Edicraspis suhfervida, n. sp. 5 .
