An A-10 Thunderbolt II pilot from the 354th Fighter Squadron out of Davis-Monthan AFB, Arizona, guides an R-11 fuel truck into position for re-fueling during a training exercise at Twentynine Palms, California, Feb. 18, 2021. This training encompassed a wet-wing defuel that off-loaded 24,000 pounds of fuel from a C-130J Super Hercules onto an R-11 truck which then refueled two A-10s.
