A young pretty girl sells cheap underwear on the street of Kyiv (Kiev), Ukraine. Things change a lot in Ukraine and Russia, sincein post war Soviet Union it was impossible to find stylish elegant lingerie. A lot of Ukrainian women today have or want to have sexy stylish underwear, which paved the way for Italian and French lingerie shops opening in Kyiv and other big cities. However, it would be fair to say, that for the majority of female population elegant sexy underwear is well below the top priorities list. This could be probably one of the factors in early aging, losing interest in sex and healthy way of life. In modern Ukraine, when even previously well-to-do families live hand to mouth, women deprive themselves of joy and confidence that come with sexy lingerie. All what they care about, seems to be "the cheaper, the better." Which shows that with all its ambition of seeing itself a European Nation, Ukraine still has a long way to go along the steps of emancipation.
