Bust of Soviet military commander Ivan Konev at the cemetery of the Czechoslovak soldiers at the Dukla Mountain Pass, Slovakia. Marshal Ivan Konev led Red Army forces on the Eastern Front during World War II and retook much of Eastern Europe from the Nazi. He was the commander of the Soviet and Czechoslovakian troops during the Battle of the Dukla Pass in 1944.
