A Hellenistic Pilos type helmet, , 4th/3rd century Helmet with a high skull and a small offset lower rim. On the helmet crown a superimposed reinforcement plate attached with four rivets and three holes for the crest holder. On each side a riveted horn-shaped plate lug. A loop on both front and back, above the helmet base a hole on either side for the chin strap attachment. Height cm, weight 720 g. Bronze. Red-brown to green patina. Supplements to the rim area and in the skull. The interior reinforced with fibreglass. Slightly deformed. Axel Guttmann ,
