The plants are short stemmedand upright, with comparatively few and short leaves, sothat they can be planted closely. Heads large, solid, maturing about as early as Early Summer, and standlong without plant will form a hard head fit for market as early as the earliestof the round heading cabbages, and as large and solid as the winter kinds. Our stock should not be confounded with the inferior later stocks frequently offeredunder this name. Pkt. 6c; Oz. 16c; 2 Oz. 26c; ^ Lb. 40c; Lb. $
