Crawling female adder in Northern Dinaric Mountains


This large female adder was photographed in a mixed Abieti-fagetum forest not far away from limestone cliffs near Slovenian-Croatian border in Dinaric Moutains. It was approximately 70 cm long. Abieti-fagetum dinaricum Omphalodo-fagetum
