SCOLIOSIS, X-RAY

Reportage at the children's radiology centre, EOS system, Jeanne de Flandre hospital, Lille. Scoliosis imagery, 6-year old child. The French EOS medical imaging system is based on gaseous detector technology developed by Georges CHARPAK. It allows skeletal and osteoarticulaire studies to be carried out with a drastic reduction in x-ray dose absorption by the patient. It is used here on children with scoliolis.
