Dr. Peter Jenniskens of the SETI Institute, pictured next to fragment from the small asteroid 2008 TC3 in the Nubian Desert, Northern Sudan. 2008 TC3 was the first asteroid to be observed and tracked before reaching earth. Photographed during a search for samples from the asteroid impact on the 28th of February 2008.
