Another very good quality peculiar to Jack Frost is its prolific pro- ductiveness, which is really extraordi- nary, each stalk yielding from three to five ears and sometimes more. It is a dwarf variety, thus permitting very close planting. Jack Frost is ready for the table be- fore the summer has really begun, and it is truly the first of the season. It is hardy and peculiarly adapted to the West, producing cobs of small, delicate size with delicious, tender, melting, milky kernels and is without doubt the sweetest of all Sweet Corn, retaining its delicious goodness even ^hen a trifle old. It requires a rich, warm loam soil that is well cultivated and fertilized, and. although easily killed by frost, it will pay you to plant early and take some chances. If there is an early summer the result will be a good crop of corn on the market early, and should a killing frost come it is neither very much trouble or expense to Rremo Corn
