You can see abstract pattern and beauty just about anywhere, providing you cultivate image awareness, mindfulness and recognise the good stuff when you see it! Like these beautiful patterned exterior building decorations seen on Headington Hill. They are actually called the 'Rain Pavilion' and grace the outside of Oxford Brookes University, one of the newest colleges - a mere 150 years old. But then I got adventurous and turned it into something more colourful and abstract, using a combination of Photoshop techniques including image folding, rotation, multi-layer blending, transformations and gradient mapping. I hope you like it!
