Grand Canyon National Park Winter View From Mather Point. Our spectacular New Years Storm cleared out on the morning of January 2, 2015. The view is from Mather Point on the South Rim of Grand Canyon National Park. A warming trend followed the next weekend, so it didn't take long for much of the snow to melt.
