Its structure, with the strands of nerve fibres passing from the dorsal ganglia into the lateral nerves, corresponds with the description given by Brinkmann for B. hubrechti. I could find no dorsal nerve between basement membrane and circular muscles such as Burger, 1907 (1912), describes in DrepanopJiorus pelagicus. The specimen was a female with small eggs. The gonads were only seen towards the ventral side close to the lateral nerves. Bathynemertes hubrechti, Brinkmann, 1917 (Figs. 58, 59).
