NORFOLK, Va. (May 16, 2017) The aircraft carrier USS Dwight D. Eisenhower (CVN 69) (Ike) sails past the Nimtiz-class aircraft carriers USS Abraham Lincoln (CVN 72), USS George Washington (CVN 73) and the Ford-class aircraft carrier Pre-Commissioning Unit Gerald R. Ford (CVN 78) pier side at Naval Station Norfolk. Ike is currently underway conducting engineering drills as part of the sustainment phase of the Optimized Fleet Response Plan (OFRP).
