King Robert Bruce on horseback passing the wallside of Arbroath Abbey during the re-enactment of Scottish Independence of 1320.

Scottish independence was signed in a small coastal northeast town called Arbroath and confirmed Scotland's status and independence from England; a sovereign state and its use of her own military action when unjustly attacked. A letter submitted to Pope John XXII, dated 6th April 1320 and sealed by fifty-one magnates and letter is the sole survivor of three created at the time.
