The “media naranja”, or half orange ceiling in the Salon de Embajadores or Salon of the Ambassadors, Royal Alcazars, Seville, Seville Province, Andalusia, Spain. The hemispherical wooden dome, originally constructed in 1427, is credited to the master carpenter Diego Ruiz. The monumental complex formed by the Cathedral, the Alcazar and Archive of the Indies are a UNESCO World Heritages Site.
