Slightly curved sable blade with broad blood channel and back section without heel (Wilkinson blade), it is etched with leaf motifs, on one side a crowned unfinished anchor, on the other the British royal coat of arms. It bears the inscription and a test mark. The sword has a white-shark-coated handle wrapped in copper wire, a closed hilt with a crowned unfinished anchor, and a lion-shaped knob.
