A succession of bloom may be had from July to September by planting at intervals from April to June. The strongest bulbs should be kept for the latest planting. Plant six inches apart in beds or doul)le row and three inches deep. They are vei-y effective when planted among ro-^es, shrubbery, etc. In the fall, before frost, the bulbs should be lifted, dried and stored in a cellar or some other position away from frost, for planting again the following spring.
