WATERS EAST OF JAPAN (May 11, 2016) Chief Mass Communication Specialist Xander Gamble (EXW/IDW), from Austin, Texas, puts a saline lock into Hospitalman Taylor Garret, from Haysville, Kansas, during the tactical combat casualty care course aboard the Navy's only forward-deployed aircraft carrier USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76). Sailors learned advanced life-saving skills and techniques throughout the three-day course. Ronald Reagan provides a combat-ready force, which protects and defends the collective maritime interests of the and its allies and partners in the Indo-Asia-Pacific region.
