The balance of seventeen (17) dollars and forty-eight cents was paid October 27, 1808. The document is signed in the bottom right by Robert Hill. On the reverse is written "Robert Hill Acct. + Rec'd for taxes 1808, 27, ; Both sides are written in black ink.
