Police officers attend to an injured protester at the Stop The War rally in Trafalgar Square, London on October 8th 2011


On the 8th October 2011, Stop The War, an anti war movement, organised a rally in Trafalgar Square London. There were various guest speakers including, Julian Assange the wikileaks founder, politician George Galloway and activist Jemima Khan. The rally culminated with a short march down Whitehall to the gates of Downing Street to hand in a petition. During the demonstration outside Downing St a protester collapsed and had to have first aid administered by Police Officers. Remaining police formed a line around the injured party to enable first aid to be given.
