Ifthrough the efforts of the association, information as to detailsof operation and management, useful to managers, but not easilyaccessible—especially to the smaller companies—could be collectedand put in shape for ready use, a great step will have been at this meeting, a Question Box has been started, the. E. n. results of which will, 1 am sure, dcmonstrale its value. Greatinterest has been manifested, especially on the part of our associatemembers, to whom the thanks of the association are due. It isstrongly urged that our active members take a hearty interest inthe discussions which will form part of the proceedings of thismeeting, and which to a large extent will be based upon the topicssuggested by the answers already received. The questions, answers and discussions therein are expected tobe incorporated in a book, which I am sure will be of great value tothe association and its members. More time, however, should begiven to this subject than has been possible, and I leave to mysuccessor the duty and pleasure of improving upon the subject, ifthe same shall l>e considered by llf association of sufficient valueto warrant its further consideration.
